IT'S UPDATE DAY ! ASTRONOID 1.7 OUT AND AVAILABLE NOW !!!

You can download the new version by going to the itchio page and simply downloading the game to replace the one you currently have on your PC. No installation required !

PATCH NOTES

Highlight: 

- New achievements ! Good luck getting them all !

New Features:

- 20 New Achievements were added with their own Achievement screen

- A new Settings screen was added

- The game is now playable from your web browser
The web version is sometimes a little buggy and is missing some features, so please consider downloading the game for the full experience ! 

Balance Changes:

- Neutron Cannon: 40 Points / Rock -> 60 Points / Rock

- Shield hitting Comet: 500 Points -> 1 000 Points

- Freeze: Now stops Rocks from respawning while Freeze is active

- Freeze: + 1 000 Points on pick up

- Bonus Points: + 5 000 Points -> + 8 000 Points

- Invincible: Duration 10 Seconds -> Duration 15 Seconds

- Omnishot: Now doubles the amount of axis when Double Turret is enabled

Bug Fixes:

- Fixed the music resetting when transitionning from one screen to another

- Added "Shift" as an option to Toggle Shoot in the Help Screen (the feature already existed but wasn't documented in the Help Screen)

Known Issues:

- This update erases your previous save data. Due to the addition to the Achievements and Settings, I fully reworked the save file structure and couldn't use the previous method. Sorry :(
If you played previous versions of Astronoid, the game will automatically delete your old Save File. The code responsible for this will be deleted through a later update.

Next Update:

- A new enemy will appear

- A new Difficulty game mode
